As parents, we are constantly wondering whether our child is meeting his/her developmental milestones. Recently, I discovered a website that will help you with that! The CDC's Developmental Milestone's page has benchmarks for all ages. (Available in English & Spanish)
Our philosophy at Mountaintop Childcare is that each child is an individual and s/he grows and develops at their own pace; however, tools such as these can be used to spark conversations with our caregivers and our medical professionals to "act early" if necessary.
